Our membership year runs from February until January 31. Renewals are due on the 1 February.
Providing subscriptions are renewed by 28/29 February, a discount is available (as shown on the subscription renewal form). Membership lapses if fees are not paid by the end of February.
If a member has not renewed by the last day in February then a joining fee plus a full year’s subscription will be due. Four post dated cheques may be used to pay the yearly subscription dated 1 February, 1 March, 1 April and 30 April. The early payment discount does not apply if this method of payment is used.
A Duty Levy is also applicable as part of the membership of the Club. A Club as large as ours needs a lot of help to run the numerous events that it provides. Members are asked to contribute to the running of these events by opting to carry out a ‘duty’ once a year. Anyone not wishing to do this has the option of paying the ‘Duty Levy’ as shown on the Subscription Renewal Form.
The duties are contained within the rosters that are set up at the beginning of the year. A list of duties is available for you to choose from, ranging from Sunday tea, to helping with Club suppers on a Thursday during the summer. Lists of all people on the Duty Roster are displayed on the notice board and sent out to individuals before the start of the summer season in May.
New members are invited to attend 4 FREE drills/coaching/social sessions on a Wednesday evening from 8.00pm to 9.30pm
A member may bring a visitor 3 times in any one year. However, that visitor may not be a visitor of any other member during the course of that year. You may bring more than one visitor 3 times a year and you may bring more than one visitor at any one time.
